What is lower back pain?
Lower back pain is a common problem that can occur when the disks between the vertebrae in your spine become inflamed and compressed. This can cause pain and disability, especially if the pain is severe.
The uterus is a female reproductive organ located in the pelvis. It contains the ovaries and uterus (the womb) and helps to produce eggs. During menstruation, the uterus contracts and push out blood and tissue. Cramps in the lower abdomen or lower back can refer to uterine cramps, which are a type of menstrual cramp. Uterine cramps are often described as mild to moderate pain that lasts for several hours each month, usually starting around the time of ovulation (about two weeks before menstruation usually begins). Due to this condition, women experience lower back pain.
